But it is a priority for us and our club to maybe to set those set the culture and hey yes we're doing this team dinner.
We're going here as a team we're doing these things where um create these memories and and they do and honestly it's not only my child's team but it's been former players.
in the past sort of been, I'll do anything for another moment with my team again.
So um so yeah, I don't think um uh the these environments get enough credit for all that it creates.
I think people see it sometimes just as strict competition.
Oh, absolutely.
And um I think that the culture we create at our club is important.
I think um what we do as coaches and um as parents you have to be able to separate, you know, having 'cause we we we were fortunate enough to coach our kids.
Some clubs have
a policy where you can't coach your kids and um I wouldn't change it.
They respond well to us, um and they're just like any other player and I think that the minute you step off the field it is
nothing to do with soccer.
And we've both Albertine and I have we would look at each other some days and be like, Are you gonna say anything?
No.
Like we can't.
We've made a pact.
We're not saying anything unless they ask.
Um and so we we stuck true to it and I think
that Allie went out to play at Stanford and my son's deciding to figure out his his path.
Um he's going to be a senior and they've always appreciated that and always have commented back and like thank you because they don't need to get in the car and hear more.
