But what a bounce for it to go. And then to go to the Reggie choke. Like, 94 playoffs. Like... Crazy. Now, a lot of people will point out. I believe when Reggie did that, they lost that that series.
They did lose that one. So maybe that's a good sign for Knicks fans. And he's pulling out the choke Reggie style. And they did lose that series. But I don't know. A part of me is like like when it went to overtime. I'm sorry. Like Tassie, you're like, you're right. There are chances and all that. Brunson was pretty clutch. But you like you just give up a lead that like that's insane.
You're not winning in overtime. You're not. They scored the first four, didn't they?
And I wonder now, can you bounce back from that and even, of course, recover in this series? It's only one game, but what a drastic way to lose a game that you had. You had where people were leaving the bar, and my God, again... Going down to the washroom, to the bathroom during the break before overtime was one of the funniest things that has happened to me.
Like just Knicks fans cursing while taking a piss and washing their hands. People like, like they knew. You know what I mean? Like they were all down there like, okay, it's going overtime. We have five more minutes, but what the hell just happened? We just lost this game.
There was one guy that didn't wash his hands. You know who you are. I saw you. Yeah, I saw him. I let it slide. All things considered, he's having a rough night. I was like, alright. Nobody's going to be shaking your hand on a good win. So don't worry about it.

He does usually one bounce and then he goes. And that one, he paused forever.
Yeah, the box score is wild. I mean, Brunson, 43 points, 15 to 25 shooting, a lot of free throws, seven turnovers for Brunson. He did look gassed down the stretch. Like he was sloppy with the ball. Now he hit clutch free throws and he did come through in overtime to like keep him alive. And they had a look. He had a good look from three. Pacers decide not to foul in that situation.
Runs out a good look. Hart, so he misses. Hart comes, like, screaming out of nowhere. Somehow gets the rebound. Saves it. Kicks it out to Cat. Pretty good look.
Pretty good look, but, you know, maybe fatigue again. That one was short, as a lot of shots that missed as this game went on, because it was such a high-octane game, like... The shots that were missing generally were like coming up short. So two good looks to obviously maybe get it into double overtime, but Pacers survived. So yeah, runs with the 43 cat with 35 and 12.
I mean, so really good game from him. And then on the Pacers side, two guys going over 30 Halliburton, 31 points and 11 assists. And then knee Smith, eight and nine, like you said, from deep four, fourth line, 30 points for this guy. And, you know, obviously Siakam chipping in here. Turner started the game on fire, couldn't miss, sort of went quiet as the game went on.
He started nine for nine.
And even Mitchell Robinson had a bunch of plays where he doesn't get credited for an offensive rebound in the box score. But like those ones where like you fight for it. Pacers tipping out by knee Smith.
He had like three or four of those. Like he, he was pretty instrumental in this game, but in the end it was the knee Smith catching fire. Halliburton's crazy shot. And then, you know, Nembhard obviously chipping in there and topping. It's a good addition to throw him in there. He had some huge buckets. And Rick Carlisle going two for two in the challenges. Two game-saving challenges.
And especially if OG also doesn't drop that pass from Brunson. Like he bobbled it. Yes. Otherwise he scores or, you know, maybe gets fouled. He catches it clearly. Yeah.
Well, because it wasn't a foul on the first part of the play, right? Like, Siakam blocks him. Pure ball. It's pure ball. But then the play continues, and maybe there's some contact, and there's obviously Siakam grabbing his jersey, and then OG goes down. And so it's like, ooh, are they going to, like, almost like this weird continuation after the block, are they going to call that?
But I think they decided, like... He was blocked, and this tug of the jersey or whatever had no impact on Siakam grabbing the ball in the rest of the play, is my interpretation.
How do you feel for about the other challenge, the one where Nemhard sort of jumps the passing lane? I thought OG panicked a little bit on that, too. He, like, wanted to, like, swing it a little too quickly to Brunson. The play hadn't materialized, I thought, enough. But anyway, awesome play by Nemhard. Goes out on Brunson. But how do you feel about, like, the official holds onto the ball now.
