You know, it's a very interesting thing at a time when people have the possibility to do the most out of their own free choice.
They often end up acting in the most conventional, conforming ways.
Everybody's doing the same thing rather than use that freedom to then assert yourself and just say, I will do it in a way that feels right to me.
Because ultimately, you will feel better by being true to yourself than to do some things because you think that that's what's expected of you.
And I think that we're seeing it because the culture of hookup that comes with FOMO is gradually moving from a culture of FOMO to a culture of avoidance.

And I think that part of it is because people are feeling that if that doesn't suit me, then I better just do nothing.
And I think it's too bad.
Do plenty.
You know, our relational histories, they should start around 12, 13, 14, quite young in adolescence.
And you grow with them.
They give you experience for later.
Otherwise, if you just, it's like, you know, what are you going to do?
Eat fast food till you're 25, 27, and then suddenly you're going to try to eat healthy and cook?
Mm-hmm.
Why don't you learn to eat well from the start?
So grow in relationships.
Don't just do stuff and then one day you say, okay, now I'm ready to settle down.
Now it's time for relationships.
