customer can't support that no not at all the issue is not that a data center or the high tax base was moving in is that it was a completely secretive process right that the population was not involved in and bluntly that developer should pay the price for that they do need to fix that correct i mean i we live in the god's country right we live in very beautiful rolling hills um the foothills of the of the smokies i run around here a lot they're not rolling
People have been talking about and ignoring infrastructure for a long time.
Our national highway system, which we all take for granted, is an incredible feat of engineering and connectivity that we refuse to fund.
And we talk about sovereignty on production and sovereignty on farming and sovereignty on power and how outrageous it is that we have to buy aluminum from Canada and chips from China.
And there's some valid points there.
Data sovereignty is the same way.
Correct.
Proximity matters for things like latency and processing speed.
And my data center is in England, a friendly country to the United States.
It's still got to cross an ocean.
Correct.
For it to run those processes.
And that's not quick.
So I think the data sovereignty discussion has to be had because there's some nimbyism, some not in my backyard tendencies that are a lookalike to manufacturing facilities.
