And the all-time highway expenditure, and this was over about 110 years, was $6 to $9 trillion.
Obviously, that's a big number with a lot of footnotes and all those things, but it's a good example of...
You compress a national infrastructure into five years.
Those numbers double.
69 trillion is way below where we're headed right now.
I personally think the inference training is going to be one of the big pushes there.
I'm also curious for your opinion.
At what point are there just marginal returns?
At what point do you just say, just like a better paved road or a faster car, it's cool that your Porsche can go zero to 60 in negative 12 seconds, but how much faster, how much better does it need to be versus we start getting into marginal improvements that maybe don't cost as much.
There's an argument that this is the most expensive the technology will ever be as it's being created, we're going out and capturing the step change improvements.
making a lot of errors doing a lot of guessing and then just like anything else the market starts to stabilize around marginal improvement i mean at some point even if you got to imagine a world where you had zero second latency and zero second processing time i mean you can't go faster than zero correct and it's and you got to start looking at it too the car the car on the road example is great because yeah can can you go buy a porsche 911 turbo s
Is that what you're doing today?
In the current space we're in, you've got to get into the question of when does a bubble become a market?
Because right now,
You have all the biggest tech companies in the world investing and they're investing in multiple layers of infrastructure and power and chips and racks and everything.
You have pretty much all the decision makers as off takers.
You got the private companies, you got governments, you have private wealth funds.
At some point, you know,
it's easy to look at any market and say that's just a circular economy so it stops being a legitimate criticism if you get to the point where there is a net cash positive from the market and i think that's a really interesting question because that's where you also see the quote smart money correct it's not two or three decision makers it's not the ceo and cfo of enron sitting around scheming it's all the smartest biggest money in the world making mutual infrastructure investments and i just i'll ask you you know at what point does a bubble become a market
We see some of that smartness doing like we're starting to see neo clouds and a lot of the AI training groups Move away from using big block backup gents.
