what happened for me is that i actually ended up in a place in amsterdam working for abn amro bank and all the guys i was working around were analysts for the stock market over there on the uh the ams and the amsterdam stock exchange is incredible because it's tiny but it's also one of the oldest in in the world and all of a sudden i was like oh i probably should get on this right and i worked in finance right so what again getting back to the first part is do not be upset if you don't know that answer to your question on like if you listen to this don't be upset because

I'm now 38 and I know but I don't at the same time.

I'm still learning because we talk about being reasonable and I am reasonable from the point of view that I will make decisions that are financially irrational because they're reasonable for my family.

back in the day I was making financially reasonable decisions for me because that at the time gave me what I wanted to do.

Because in the end, as I said, money's potential and the potential it gave me to do what I found so liberating and so important to me was there.

Money, therefore, in short answer, after that massively long-winded question, was the way to look at it is that money will change for you.

What you do with it and how money is to you will change and accept that because you are a person.

You have behavioral biases.

You have psychological biases, psychological experiences.

I mean, COVID, think about that and the change that's people.

They will, therefore, adapt with you.

So, money needs to adapt with you.

Yeah, and that change, that liberation change, is a fascinating thing is to understand that, yeah, your paycheck's great and I talk –

There are incredibly smart people that I know very, very well through all walks of life that are making incredible amounts of money.

I know lots of people that are making really good money, but I highlight some of them that are making about $300,000 a year, which is a lot of money.

That means they're in the top 1% of the country's earnings.

And their finances make me almost sweat behind the knees because they just don't think exactly as that.

They live basically paycheck to paycheck because for them, money just comes to them.

And this again gets back to that point about your life isn't linear and money isn't either.

So, the concern that I, I mean, and this is my personality, okay, and we're talking about the way we're sort of moving into the next part here, but my personality is an investor saver personality.
