I think most, you know, Bobby and I really did not like working for other people.
I mean, we'd both been really fortunate.
You know, he had a job working for like sort of a payments company.
I had a job interning at Intuit, which was an amazing opportunity.
We had been working on, you know, essentially websites that would be on, not smartphones, but on those like touchtone phones, like ways to build websites on touchtone phones for India.
That had been really cool because I realized on a team of just three people or four people that you could build and ship software to the world.
It was really inspiring for me.
And so I think that combination of not wanting to work for other people, wanting to build stuff, and then realizing that if you build software, you could scale it and deploy it to people all over the world pretty easily was really, really exciting.
And then Bobby and I just love working together.
So I think all of those things combined, you know, led us to work on Snapchat.
And when I first presented Snapchat or what was called Picaboo at the time to my class, because it was like one of my senior projects, essentially.

Or junior projects or whatever it is at school.
everyone was like, this makes no sense.
