He saw himself as a member of the Kraken.
His girlfriend, you know, I met her.
She's awesome.
She loves it here as well.
Those things all matter.
And for a guy that, you know, saw himself having a big role on this team, wanting to be in this Kraken organization, wanting to be a cornerstone piece of hopefully future success down the road, those are all positives.
And that was a massive get and a massive signing for Seattle.
I think Sam Miscavige is a very underrated signing.
I mean, when you're in, or trade, I should say, when you're in Florida, you're playing behind the Kachuks and the Barkovs and the, you know, this team that won back-to-back cup finals.
So it's hard to gain your footing, right?
But when you look at what he brings to the table, he has got speed on top of speed.
He can shoot the puck.
He's not afraid to shoot the puck.
I've been a fan of his since he was in the USHL with the Chicago Steel.
He played at the University of Michigan.
He has been able to produce and perform wherever he has been.
Now he has an opportunity as a 23-year-old, still very young in this league.
He can still make a name for himself, and that's the one thing that a lot of folks have been talking about with Seattle Kraken.
There have been a lot of older vets that have been signed, 30-plus, 28-plus-year-old vets who have been signed.
And Jason Bottrill has talked a lot about this team's under-23 group, 23 and under group, that is going to lead this team into the future.
