Yes, I have, David.

And while the people I've spoken to seemed really supportive of the new regulations, very few are confident about how effective they'll actually be.

Now the Guardian did carry out a high impact Dave operation in Blanchret's town and the surrounding areas last month, and they were clamping down on the illegal use of e-scooters as well as people not following the rules.

Um the rules weren't in effect then, but they were trying to educate those um as part of a long term strategy to

to ensure that the users will be complying with the law.

And um many of the people I've spoken to are still asking about how regularly these news w new rules will actually be enforced.

So you don't think the ba um this these new rules will be effective?

I see you are where you're riding your bike, you have a high vis, you have a helmet.

Do you think everyone who has a vehicle should also have to do so, have to wear a helmet, have to wear high vis?

Okay, and so do you think that it's a them having the laws for e scooters has gone a little bit far then?

Doesn't matter even if they're banned.

And you guys think it will be effective?

Do you think people actually follow the rules?

People wear the helmets, people wear the hives?

Do you think it would be effective?

do you think that it would even be worth the government's while implementing more measures?

Yeah, David, that's right.

So several centre services in Stepside Village have either stopped operating or have had to move outside of the area.

Within the last eighteen months, the community has lost its ophthalmist and the local GP.

Then just two months ago, the local centra, which was actually nicknamed by the residents as DES Kennedy Centra due to DES's long-standing ownership, also closed its doors.
