I was just trying to think more about this special ahead of time than I ever have in the past. Before, I've just been like, it's time to film something. Let's do it. And then they're like, what do you want to design? I don't know.
So this time I was like, I wanted to do, like, what is the elevated version of me and my stand-up right now? Because I've done two tours back-to-back in the last three years. No break. Fortune, what are you doing? 100 cities, 150 shows each. Year and a half for each one. And I filmed two seasons of Fubar between the first two tours and then at the end of this last one.

We're actually worried about you. That's what my wife has been saying to me. I'm like, oh my God. Why are we doing all this? I don't know. I don't know. I just fell in the rabbit hole. And I just love performing so much, you know? And then once it, you know, it started doing well. So then you're like, well, like I said, I got to add, you know, 30 more cities.

And it just kind of snowballs until you're like, wait, I haven't. stopped in three years. So I wanted the special to also reflect that, that the shows were doing so well and it was cool going in all these cities and having 3,000 people show up. And I was like, how do I capture that? And so I started thinking about the colors of it. I was like, I want bright.

Because of my own podcast, Handsome, we're in suits for our picture on that. And just kind of flipping that thing of what handsome looks like and what can be any person, any gender. It's what you think is handsome. It's a vibe. It's an essence. Yeah, I was kind of playing off of that, too. So it's like, I want to wear a suit. But I like the idea of it having a little feminine part.

Well, because at first I have a very cool director, Christian Mercado. He's a filmmaker who does movies and he directed it. And we were trying to do like a cool vibe at first, like with arches. And it just wasn't, like, the concept was really cool, but when we saw it rendered, it was like, it just doesn't, it was like arches in a void.

And that's going to make people just be like, why are there arches, you know? So Jax was like, sparkly curtain, shiny floor, let's go. And we were like, yeah. It was beautiful. Yeah, thank you.
