But reading a book from beginning to end is now a pile of books next to my bed that I'm wanting to read.
I get three chapters and I pick up another one.
And so when I did that, it was like, you know, saying I was literally, you know, in a hammock going, this is the most delight I've had in a long time of just sitting and listening to the waves and

My husband was on the hammock next to me doing the same thing.
And we were just like, this is pretty good.

My parents were teenagers when they started a family.
So I have an older sister and a younger brother.
And we lived about six kilometres from the Hauara township.
And I went to a very small primary school with like 80 kids there.
Tawhiri primary.
And I think of its time, I was a 70s child and I was very typical.
Everybody was the most egalitarian time in New Zealand history, probably.
Everybody had, you know, the same Hillman Hunter, Roman Sandals and, you know.
Two good shirts and a special shirt for whatever came up.
It was a simple life.
And my father was a bit of a, I guess, sort of a weird little entrepreneur.
He kept trying doing different things and none of them worked.
So I'm not sure if I say maybe a failed entrepreneur, but he did manage a long time to stick with things.
