You know, you feel like you're very much on a single track to this world of singularity or whatever point that they see the world going.

And so I certainly don't have that kind of view.

I think it's a very zigzaggy, confused world that we're in and we all will kind of move through it in different ways.

I'm thinking of the Jetsons.

I wish we had the Jetsons, that would be great.

I could have a little hovercraft, get me home.

Yeah, and I think that's the bit that people sort of imagine that, you know, I live this world of everything's really high-tech and futuristic and things, which is, you know, I couldn't be further than the truth.

I literally live off the grid.

You know, I spend my weekends and my hands in the soil, you know, with a solar farm to electricity and on a bore.

Like I'm literally there, you know, live in a very simple way on a farm.

And the technology I see is because humans –

are being carried forward by technology.

So I want to understand what that technology does for humans.

My absolute passion and interest is human.

I mean, I'm really not interested in technology for technology's sake at all.

In fact, if someone said you can take away all technology tomorrow or save the internet, I'd go, great, you know, fill your boots, let's go and live a different way.

But the fact is it's here, it's shaping us, it's informing our future.

So my view is I better get really close to it and understand what it's going to do to all of us, you know, over the next five and 10 years.

Yeah.

So if we take Aotearoa New Zealand as what are we, if we go to that sort of at a national level, we are one of the fastest changing demographies in the world.
