And then I caught a glimpse of this tree, this putukawa, and there was something that really stood out to me.

And I went, what's that?

And she said, it's the old graveyard.

And it's like right on the sand dunes.

And I'm just like, oh, you know, it really stood out to me.

I'll just let you know, I have really good senses, you know.

And I thought, okay.

But I felt that, like I originally brought up in a puriki, so I have been around,

tapu grave sites in my life.

You know, I know what it is.

And I could feel something there, but didn't even...

think of Heidi at that time you could just feel that I just felt there was something yeah yeah and so anyway we walked up and I just kept looking back at the graveyard and then um that night we just had bonfire all that and they left the next morning and I thought oh shit I'm I'm wanting to go up to Coromandel from here I might as well stay the night

in the tent on my own, just a little one or two man tent, you know.

So I stayed the night and was in his house truck, quite a way away, but close.

And there was another couple that was staying there and they were a fair way away.

So I was kind of like in the middle and just like with a few people quite a distance away from me.

And I had my dog with me, Black Labrador.

And

And I was comfortable in that, but that night I woke up and I was just like, it felt like there was a presence around me.

And I just, yeah, I kind of got a little spooked and I thought, I'll just go to the low.
