But I suppose what it shows is that there is a safeguard and that if judges can get it wrong, again, they're human beings too, they're not almighty, there is that avenue where somebody can go and get somebody to take a second look.

And I think just throwing back to a question that you asked me earlier, something that strikes me now just in terms of like the true crime genre.

And again, I'm reluctant to describe it as a genre because that would suggest that it's a form of entertainment.

But I guess like when you do it right, it also shines a light.

It also like, take for example, the third season of Inside the Crime that we did, again, an unsolved murder.

We still don't know who murdered Una Linsky or what happened to her.

A cold case inquiry was opened up.

Not to say it was opened up in the back of our podcast.

The work was being done behind the scenes anyway.

But again, it feeds into it.

It can be helpful if it's done in the right way and it can be supportive.

Yeah.

And also another thing to point out when you talk about the justice system and the work of Angarda Siocana, I mean, my preference when we're looking at stories to cover on Inside the Crime is unsolved crimes because there is the greatest of greater goods in putting those stories back out there in the hope that there will be some sort of resolution.

But also like what you'll find in more recent years, it's hard to actually come by

unsolved crimes because Angarda Siocana has become so efficient particularly when it comes to the more serious crimes like murder in finding killers and bringing them to justice whereas in the 70s and 80s when they maybe didn't have the expertise certainly when it comes to forensics and the leaps that forensic science has taken in the decades since CCTV mobile phone evidence like it's very difficult thankfully nowadays to get away with murder There are very few who don't know it anymore Music
