During treatment, your energy may change from one day to the next.
A walk that felt comfortable last week may feel completely different today.
You may need to shorten the route, slow the pace, walk indoors, or take an extra recovery day.
That does not mean you're losing your identity.
It means you're responding intelligently to what your body is experiencing.
And again, use the 3R system.
Reframe.
I'm not failing.
I'm adapting my recovery plan.
Reduce.
On a difficult day, make your walk five comfortable minutes or follow the activity guidance your medical team has given you.
And repeat, choose the next safe opportunity to move again.
Keep the connection between you and your movement alive.
Your recovery walk is not about proving toughness.
It is about preserving mobility, confidence, routine, and your belief that you're still participating in your recovery.
Treatment fights the cancer.
