And I think a lot of this, it's going to come back to us as a citizen just to demand accountability from the people we send to Washington and we send to representatives in the state houses.

And sometimes when you're when you're rushed to be first, you're not accurate.

And sometimes what that inaccuracy can can lead to a lot of misunderstandings and anger from the part of people who are receiving it.

I think a second thing is, as those organizations do, and a number do well, is make sure there's a clear separation between the opinion side of the house and the reporting side of the house.

You've seen the numbers I have.

The level of trust in news organizations is at an all-time low right now.

And as we go into the AI era, which we're in it already,

It's going to be more and more important for us to have news sources that we can trust.

And I think it's going to be some of these established news outlets and some that are still in formation.

They're going to be places we go to try to find out what's true and what's accurate in the world.

I would point out, I know you and other nationally known journalists have faced this.

is when I was in both of those news organizations, the doxing, the attacks on the journalists were terrible.

We had a journalist killed.

We had journalist bullets shot through the door of their house.

We had on social media, especially towards female journalists, it is just toxic.

So that's one of the reasons that, I mean, I've seen it in the incivility and the damage it does.
