So, you know, we're kind of back to back to that one point six percent, which is only just above where we were.
pre-pandemic.
So I think for us, um certainly, you know, we had kind of pretty weak per capita outcomes.
Um and what that meant was uh even falling in in some quarters there.
But actually uh you know that that's largely what's kept kind of our our GDP quite positive, right?
So in contrast to New Zealand, you know, we troffed at 0.8% uh in GDP, uh certainly supported by public sector spending as
well, but over the year to kind of September 22, you know, our slowest growth in about 30 years, and that's still quite positive, right?
So I think, you know, in the lead up to that, certainly supported by population growth.
It is now slowing.
Um, and kind of it's quite interesting when we we sort of look into that.
So certainly the the international migration
you know, has slowed from well over five hundred thousand.
It's back into the two hundred to three hundred thousand range and you know had tracked it around two hundred and fifty thousand at its peak kind of previously, but but had been slowing.
And so what we're starting to see really is certainly the student story.
You know, they've kind of re entered uh Australia and that that really boosted growth, but you know, that inflow is now slowing.
It it's still a little bit elevated.
Um but really what's quite interesting is actually
the outflows uh of students and people whose visas were extended during the pandemic, um, you know, still kind of
A little bit below its norm.
So, you know, that's that's recovering and really driving this net kind of outflow for for us in terms of of migration.
