So uh for Australia, um, you know, certainly a bit of resilience, maybe a bit of strength on that activity outlook, uh, and then those kind of conflicting signals we've got over the last month.
So really that inflation print we saw that kind of changed that picture from us thinking that inflation
is going to be, you know, pretty close to that two and a half percent mark uh in the second half of this year.
Um, you know, probably now closer or definitely will be closer to three percent or a little bit above uh over the next few quarters, and a question of how does that that pressure kind of ease after that against the challenge of, you know, that that volatile uptick in in the unemployment rate.
So I think, you know, broadly still optimistic, I still think we would classify Australia, you know, as a as
a relatively soft landing rates are still marginally restrictive in the RBA's view and and certainly our view.
And so it's probably just a question here of uh you know, how long do they have to kind of hold at that level just to bring things back into balance a little bit more.
Um but certainly the flip side is is the opportunity to ease a little bit more quickly if we need to.

I think for Australia probably probably not, to be honest.
Not not in the short term.
I think, you know, if you take it literally in the quarter, uh inflation has picked up and and unemployment has picked up as well.
Uh but let's see how how it all sort of plays out.
