But actually, after that, we went and won.

We went in a Premiership record of winning 18 games in a row, which got us to the Premiership final.

We won a Premiership final.

So that kind of is one example that I've got on the top of my head.

But I can see it from both sides.

suppose if you're thinking about um from a leinster point of view the good thing is from from exeter point of view we didn't have a lot of turnovers a player so we didn't lose a lot of players who disappear off to now we had probably about seven real players who might disappear at internationals you know you're talking around six nations times um and then but we had a core group that was always there so it was always like when these guys came back it was like this is where we're at this is what we're doing

So we could always keep pushing through to the end of the year.

Whereas the guys would jump back into it pretty quickly.

I suppose from Leinster, they probably have a lot of players who disappear off with international rugby.

They're with each other all the time.

And the height of what they were doing in the Six Nations to then come back and get themselves ready and gear up for what is arguably the business end of the season.

Those are probably different types of experiences that...

if they had more boys maybe staying in the leinster system maybe that just brings them back down to what's going on but again like i'm not from being involved in that environment um it's it's hard to comment on it but i do believe that like it's like anything sick purchase said their elite sport if you're not challenging each other everyone is in there because of the top performers in their field

If you're not challenging each other on a daily basis, you're not going to be successful.

You have to be able to go after each other, and not in a bad way.

You have to build that rapport up, and you probably build that rapport up over the course of a year, two, three years.

And if you look at the Leinster side that they have, a lot of them are guys who've been playing together for many, many years in many different teams, like Lions, Ireland, everything.

So, look, behind the scenes, I think you've probably just seen it spill out a little,

bit probably after you know Bordeaux maybe a little bit of frustrations going into the year because it happens but it just shows the passion that they have for what they're trying to do and at the end of the day everybody's in there trying to win nobody's in there trying to not do their best and I think that's just a bit heightened and it's good that they're at this business end of the season because this is where they want to be
