So it's all hands on deck in this moment.
And I hope that everyone hears that message and heeds to it.
I'm a little skeptical.
Well, first of all, I don't doubt what they're saying.
I don't doubt that Democrats in Illinois or Democrats in New York will be able to kind of make this work in their places, their states.
But the reality is that the majority of Black people live in the South.
More Black people live in Texas than any other state.
A ton of Black people live in Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, what we know as the Black Belt.
That's where the majority of Black people are.
And those are the places where Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act allowed for black people to have a way to have their voices heard in Congress and not just in Congress, but but in many other areas.
And so my concern is that, well, yes, that's great.
That's great for New York.
Thank you, New York, for holding down the fort.
Thank you, Illinois.
Thank you, California.
We appreciate it.

But what about the black folks who will now very likely lose representation in the state of Tennessee?
