I reckon about five seconds later, he pulled out a needle about this long, put some cortisone, some local and a few other things in there.
Um, said two minutes later, how's it feeling?
I said, it's not feeling great.
He said, all right, I may have missed a joint, pulled out another needle, put another one in.
Um, and then it was at that time I went back up and obviously tested it out and played the game out.
Um, and yeah, as, as I said, although things didn't play out the way I would have liked, it was nice just to be able to get up and join the group again, finish my career off and get the opportunity to play in another grand final.
And my wife and boy were there to experience that.
And
Um, just so fortunate to be able to have such a long career, 19 years in the game.
It's, um, yeah, it truly has been a blessing.
Yeah.
And I mean, there's so many different stories throughout a year.
I mean, you've got guys that got long term injuries that that, you know, might have been in your best 22 that didn't get that opportunity.
Guys that that have just missed out, you know, being dropped.
I think there's an element of luck as well.
I mean, you know, obviously there's a lot
not just within the footy world, but in life that's out of our control.
And, you know, as you guys would know, you know, your team's got to be peaking at the right time of year.
