It didn't

have the front end um that he wanted.

So it's the rate of change of steering that maybe makes it makes it so different.

So I think it's very difficult to to do any major analysis of a driver's compatibility to a given car until he's in that given car.

And then it's all too late.

You know, he's been signed up and and um you've you've um identified how you're going to re

recompense him with his his bank balance, etc.

etcetera.

So it's I don't think it's I don't think it's black and white by any means.

You know, you just got to look at a driver's performance and say, can he perform over a generally a a a wide range of different circuits, fast, slow, um wet, dry.

And if it does all of that, then it's down to you as a team to try to make him comfortable in the car that you

you're you're trying to create for 'em.

And time will mean that you alter your design philosophy a little bit as the driver highlights what he needs out of it.

And that's where Max that's where his strength comes comes from.

And it's the same with with any team.

You know, Lander's been able to influence McLaren in how they go about things from his success.

Um and I think the same thing Leclerc has been able to influence.

Lewis Hamilton keeps talking about trying to influence Ferrari.

Um so it's you know, you try to influence the team that you're with to try to to understand what you need to make it go quick.
