as I say at the beginning of all this is you need a driver that has shown speed, true speed, wet, dry, you know, qualifying one lap, race looking after tires, etcetera, etcetera.
You need somebody that's fast and then you can try and try and optimise the other parts of it as best possible.
Yeah, I mean it's one of those sort of situations that's very difficult in Formula One.
Uh let's say if you took a a G P two car, set it up XYZ, whatever way you think is the best solution for it, and you took Max Verstappen, um Liam Lawson, you know, Hajar, whoever, and give them all ten laps in that car, each uh with a new a new set of tires, to come back
Blindly report what they felt from the car, the the the re the result would be completely different.
Every uh those three drivers would give you a different result.
The lap time would probably be completely different.
It's just one of those sort of situations where as you say, one driver's under steers, another driver's um lazy front end or a uh uh or a uh a a loose rear end.
So it's it's i it's always difficult to quantify it.
I think if you go back
Back to back quite a few years to Alonso driving the Rennet with Mitchell and tires, how he used to put far too much steering lock on.
You'd see him go into a corner and just turn the steering wheel way past the slip angle, the front tires just scrubbing along merrily.
And I mean, you know, why was he doing that?
Nobody else using bridge using uh Michelin tires at that point in time did it.
But it was just the way he he felt the car go
way back even further than that, Nelson P.
K he was a driver who
You know, he never left the steering wheel alone.
He was always moving the steering a little bit, a little bit more angle, a little bit less angle, a little bit more angle.
And he was trying to feel where the maximum slip angle was from the tire all the time.
