Um so that you know very, very different driving styles.

Some drivers will want to go into the corner using the brakes to turn the car in, so they'll want the rear of the car to be rotating.

a little bit more and that means you can you can harvest more power uh later in that corner entry because you can use that as a bit bit like a very light hand brake I suppose.

Other drivers don't like that at all.

They want to stop the car in a straight line, turn the car and and go.

So the combination of of the car having a brain, the driver having an instinct to drive flat out, but also having a driving

style.

I think that all comes together and and separates them at some points in time.

Um but if I was, you know, at Mercedes and I had Kimi Antonelli and George Russell who I think at the moment seemed to be the two furthest apart at times, out of the blue suddenly.

Going to be the exact same to start with, and then you just need to try to mimic the driving style, or then start to accommodate that driving style.

And if you you know, if you suddenly end up with a a gap between your two drivers because of the way you've been able to set the system up or the way the system's adapted to your driving style, then you know uh that that's part of the package.

That's why I hate this system because you

You know you I think you want a car that's benign.

There's a throttle pedal, I want more power, I press the throttle pedal.

There's a brake pedal, I want to slow down more, you press it harder.

Those two pedals should be the driver's input to the car and the car from there on should just do what it's told.

As I say, the steering wheel is always a good example of that.

When the driver wants to turn right, he turns the steering wheel to the right.

When he wants to turn left, he turns to the left, and the car does that.
