And it was just good enough to take the IEA report, repackage it, and send it out to people.
So the IEA supply-demand work has become really the consensus supply-demand work.
And they have really missed a lot of the big calls and real key turning points, for that matter, in this cycle.
So when you have a report that goes out and it says oil demand's going to stop growing after 2025, and it won't matter because nanotech supply is not going to be growing that much anyway, you're thinking, holy moly, you know how much damage you're going to do here.
You're going to exacerbate the bullish cycle because demand's going to keep growing and you're
feeding into this idea of starving capital to a system that needs capital.
it could be a price target it could be a I understand it I'm just trying to you know when you do things like this you know the risk is it's both heroic and stupid at the same time so but let's go down that rabbit hole you can give us two if you want there's a few things I would predict one is I guess I would predict that there's going to be a massive capitulation at some point about this super glut story that's
kind of capturing the headlines right now.
Again, I know we're picking on the IEA a lot, but in their most recent monthly report, they said next year there's going to be a 5 million barrel a day oversupply.
It was supposed to be a 4 million barrel a day oversupply this year.
It was an oversupply last year.
The story is on the wires.
The billion barrel flotilla.
We've got that Bloomberg headline kind of in a lot of our handouts.
We can't just let that one go, right?
The oil on tankers.
So if I had to make a...
prediction that sounds profound and clearly out of consensus i would tell you expect a major capitulation that would be one um i would say price wise um if you looked at where oil is right now and i'm looking at my screens and brent's at not quite 75 and you said what's the risk of uh say 125 versus 50. in other words
If I had to weigh what's the risk of oil going to 50 versus oil going to 125, I would tell you the risks are disproportionately skewed to the 125.
Okay.
