I would love to.

So high, low Buffalo originated at my dining table.

My husband went to a team building event and he played this game where you shared the high of the day, the low of your day and something you wanted everyone to know.

So it was just a get to know you activity, but he actually thought in the scheme of all the terrible get to know you activities he's done in his life, that was a pretty good one.

And he said, we should do this at home.

So we started doing it just as high, low Buffalo.

We used to call it high, low Gruffalo actually, but I couldn't trademark that.

Um,

And so we sort of started playing it and same as you, my very quiet, slow to warm up kid started.

I mean, at first he used to say, skip, skip, skip.

And we'd say, okay, you're allowed to skip.

And then it kind of built and he started giving just a high or the high is this dinner, you know, really simple.

And then one night he got to his low and he just told us something that had been happening at school with his academics and some serious anxiety issues.

And it just all poured out of him.

It was so full on that I was like, immediately, I was like, let's go for a walk.

I'm going to take you up to the park with the dog.

We're going to talk more about this.

But it was just incredible that it was through that.

And that's when I started to realize, gosh, like I'm a parent educator.

I sort of work so hard on connection.
