You know, the John Peterson, Sam Burns lights, those kinds of things um didn't help.
And
Uh and I've I've just made that case.
It's like the the US amateur winner being able to play the US Open as a as a pro.
Um, you know, I talked a lot with John Bodenhammer about that.
My view was it it's just about
thought to be crass marketing, just to remind people that, oh, this person won the US amateur and now they're in this marquee pairing at the US Open.
And uh n you know, they're gonna turn pro anyway, so let's celebrate the win.
And um
The Masters is the one where I would not budge on the amateur thing, you know, if they change their status.
Um y y but but the other ones, the open championship and the US Open, I think they should honor the exemptions, uh, whether they turn pro or not, to um uh just to bring reminders of those championships.
I think there's more collaboration than you think, but I think the the concern is, and I believe Brendan wrote a n a good newsletter item on this.
that the t the the newer Tor Brass doesn't quite uh get that at all.
Uh the previous leadership kind of got it, but as we've seen, you know, they formed the partnership with the LPGA.
And I've seen nothing to and some of that may be on the LPGA.
Uh I've seen nothing that shows that they went, okay, uh, you know, uh we're we're gonna finish on a little different
Day, that way we're live on golf channel, we're live on MBC, not yeah, whatever.
And it's very hard.
There's just too many events probably in golf, but
I do think there's been more of that collaboration than you think, but I d I think you're absolutely right to keep
