Colorado was trying to pass some sort of law where you had to disclose that it was talking to AI or there's any sort of.

AI interaction between the customer and the business.

You had to disclose it no matter what.

That bill was still in progress, I think, like three or four months ago when I last looked at it and it had got shot down the past two times that it was going through.

And Colorado is the only state that's really passing something like that right now.

So as of right now, no, there's no like legal requirement to do so.

Sometimes it can help with kind of bringing that wall down for some more sensitive customers.

We have people in markets that are part private.

predominantly older generations.

So if for whatever reason they do end up figuring out that it's AI, they can get a little bit aggressive or abrasive, you could say, finding it out.

And then they're like, oh, I don't want to talk to a robot.

And then they just hang up.

So kind of like stating it upfront can give them a chance to kind of bring that wall down.

So yeah, you don't have to, it really depends on your market.

What we've found based on all the data that we collect is usually people are more apt to talk to the AI once they've already gotten some sort of value out of it, right?

So a lot of times we actually tested this with one of our franchises a couple months ago.

We implemented a statement like that, like, hey, this is an AI assistant, but I can still help you do all the same stuff pretty much, right?

our hangup rates within the first 30 seconds, four X, like we have four times the hangup rates within the first 30 seconds.

And we were like, cut that immediately, right?
