There are Syrian refugees in every other neighboring country of Syria.

I mean, they went to Jordan, they went to Lebanon, they went to Turkey.

They didn't go to Israel because they couldn't, because there were soldiers there.

You know, it was clear that they wouldn't be able to enter.

So that's an option.

The Swiss just managed to stop them crossing into the only democracy that was safe, especially during World War II.

German Jews couldn't get into Switzerland.

The Refugee Convention, its laws, the Torture Convention, the Child Rights Convention.
