Alvin Bragg said Frederick Green was indicted on four charges, a count each of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree weapons possession.

Green allegedly shot Chris Boyd, a member of the New York Jets, following an argument and fights outside a Manhattan restaurant.

Police said a day after the shooting, he hid in a female friend's apartment in Buffalo.

Less than a month later, police, along with federal marshals, arrested Green after surrounding that apartment.

Boyd, who continues to recover from his injuries, is still with the Jets franchise.
