Otherwise, somebody talks to another friend until another friend gets out.
And that was crucial to this escape because it was a complicated escape.
It was complex.
We need a spectacular escape, which will get people back to the struggle, but will also show the British that they can never break, that we can smash the H-blocks in another way.
That's where the ideas and the discussions came from.
And then
It was two of our comrades on the escape committee were walking around one of the yards, not actually in Head 7 where the escape took place.
But what I'm saying, what's that noise?
It was a lorry.
And they said, well, that's the, they used to call it the meat wagon or the kitchen lorry.
That's bringing up the meals.
And they come into every block three times a day.
And so the plan started centering around, well, can we do that?
Can we take over a lorry?
Can we do it for the whole camp?
Well, I can't tell you.
Because people can still go to jail.
I mean, it was 43 years ago.
Oh, yeah.
People can still go to jail.
