I thought Italy played better against the All Blacks.

They were inspired early on by that brilliant Tommaso Menoncello try.

And they were competitive.

It was a 14-10 at halftime.

But the All Blacks just turned on the afterburners the second half.

And it was interesting.

listening to Rennie today and talking about it.

And he said that before the game, but it was reinforced at halftime, they overplayed their hand a little bit and had to kick more in the second half.

Because by kicking more, that would force Italy to kick it back to them.

And they love attacking off transition.

And they're very good at it.

You know, they've got Damian McKenzie and Will Jordan and Leroy Carter and all these players.

They've got X Factor galore.

And that kind of more broken game suited them in the second half.

And the Italians wilted.

You know, they got one of their tries for Will Jordan was they took a quick tap with two players on the ground.

The referee let it continue, even though two Italian players were injured.

So they effectively scored from 45 minutes out with a quick tap against 13 men.

And Italy really wilted and couldn't live with the tempo that the All Blacks played at.

And that'll be my fear for Ireland.
