I don't think they played in a match yet that's remotely comparable to the tempo that the All Blacks played at in the second half against Italy and for most of the match against the Wallabies.
So I thought that once they got their game together in the second half, they pulled clear and they looked dangerous.
And it just reminded you that they are, the All Blacks are this kind of side that can just take a game away from you within 10 minutes.
They only have to have a brilliant 10 or 15 minutes and that can be enough to win a match.
And they've been like that for many years.
They probably don't strike as much fear into you as they used to do.
There's no doubt about it.
But they still have that capacity to score two or three tries in rapid succession and take a game away from an opponent.
Well, yeah, and it's also a little bit of taking a leap from the Hurricanes playbook, isn't it?
The Hurricanes have been brilliant to watch in Super Rugby this year.
He's gone with the two Hurricanes halfbacks in Cam Roygaard and Ruben Love.
Love I remember seeing on tours here before and he was always a winner or fullback whenever I watched him.
But he's this kind of
modern out half like Jalabert or Entomac and even, you know, I know there's a real running threat from 10.
It seems to be the way that the game's going.
And he might not have the best kicking game of the world.
He might be the most controlling out half in the world, and he's learning on the job.
But it seems as if they're going with him.
And he's got the invaluable guidance of Geordie Barrett outside him.
They've got an excellent back three, obviously.
