I think one of the things that we learned
fairly early on was just don't worry about it being messy.
You know, we we knew we weren't professionals and and a lot of our interviews were taking place out in parks and in malls and stuff and people's doorsteps.
Yeah, doorsteps.
You get all this ambient noise and you know and we sort of learned to embrace that.
It just felt more real.
And I think a lot of people that listen to our podcast
And and really this is my producer's call.
They're real professionals, you know, the sound designer and the senior producer, they're real professionals and they kinda liked the fact that we didn't know what we were doing and we just had this mindless banter going sometimes.
Sometimes we start arguing about parking spaces and my crappy parking skills.
And they like to just add those human moments in there.
And I it was something I didn't have any really frame of reference, but I trusted them.
And I think they just made a lot of real good choices to sort of
account for our non professional uh way of going about investigating a podcast.
You know, I really think that's a great way of looking at it because I think one of the things that we we were looking at as we finished, because this investigation took us like five years.
I mean, four years until we got on the air.
We never stopped.
But
We definitely evolved and matured as as we went through this and when we got better at it.
And I think there's an arc involved in both of us.
