And I found a piece of a plant that doesn't grow in my garden, but it grows in my neighbour's garden, which to me means they're still coming in underground, but they've rerouted.
So as soon as you kind of block something and think, okay, this is done now because I put on these no return flaps on the sewer pipes and so did my neighbours because
out of the 11 houses bordering the building development in Middleton, out of the 11 houses, six of us have had rats.
And we've all spent a lot of money trying to rat-proof the houses.
So one of the neighbours discovered recently that now they're following her gas lines under the house.
And when I was in the ceiling there recently with the camera, I discovered that they had been in my wiring conduits
So I don't know how to, I really don't know how to approach that.
I don't know how I'm going to, you know, sort that out because the lines run under the houses.
So at the moment, it's very hot in Cork for the last few days.
And they're coming in during the day because I can hear them.
And they're so smart.
The front of my house is north facing and the back of it is south facing.
So it's totally unbearable, the heat.
So they are in the ceiling at the front of the house because it's lovely and cool.
And you can just hear them moving around.
And yeah, so they don't have any interest in me and they don't have any interest in what's in my kitchen.
Well, between us now, we've had a lot of people in, you know, putting down the bait boxes and checking the place out.
And they all say the same thing.
And then they all get a bit frustrated after a while because they're not solving the problem.
And all the pest controllers seem to be able to do, fair enough, is put down the poison and the rats will eat it and they'll die.
