There's obviously getting to know the players.

We we said ourselves it's gonna take a little bit of time.

Um we weren't happy with the the results and we were trying to change things, but we also didn't know if we we what our strongest eleven was gonna be, our strongest squad.

We'd a lot of players, um we'd 31 players on the grass grass out

one stage there wasn't much movement of players leaving.

So we were trying to keep everyone happy and and and fit and healthy.

And so yeah, there was a lot of dynamics that we we tried to have and and had to shuffle around to to try and see fit.

Um obviously it's a little bit different up in Scotland because they begin with um the the League Cup campaign to begin with and we treated that as a as a preseason because that's what the narrative we were told.

Um so yeah, we were we were still trying to get to know everybody and and and trying to get to know what our strongest team and squad was gonna be.

So I think the to do uh to make the decision after after five games is like what you said is being harsh.

But I'd also like to say that I think it was it was obviously part of the plan.

Um, because obviously like you said, the the old manager who put himself upstairs has now gone in as interim.

And I think that was always going to be the case.

Yeah, no, listen, yeah it it with the experience and and the coaching stuff that I've done beforehand, it's you know, you take the good and the bad.

I think for me it's um with this now, this this is something that you you wouldn't be able to learn on a course or the pro license or the A license.

Um and it's it's spoken about trying to manage up.

Regarding the cruitment, um I didn't have a say on any player that came in the building.

Right.

that was all done above me.

So again, something going forward that I'd probably try and look at or I think about a little bit different because the players that are in Livingston building were all done from upstairs.
