But for me going in it was it was through an agent um to go and have a conversation, to go and have have an interview and
The interview obviously went well because it was off the job the the day after.
Yeah, I think when I when I spoke to the the sporting director and and the owner, my last words were l to to remember my name because this has only fueled the fire that I have now to to try and be a a top head coach or or manager.
Um I would like to get back on the horse as as soon as possible.
Um now I think if the if the right opportunity came up or or someone was willing to listen to me or or interested in what I can do.
then I would be more than uh happy to go and have that conversation.
It's um it's not something that we've planned for.
It's and obviously I brought an assistant up with me um who left a uh who left a very good role at Blackburn Rover.
So I'm more disappointed for him because he's obviously changed his plans and where he was going to to come with me and then obviously the rug was pulled from under a fee um so quick.
So
No, I think for me it's as as quick as possible to get back on the horse and and obviously prove people wrong and and especially prove a sporting director and a and an owner from a different club that what I can do.
No, yeah, listen, I think football's in the blood.
It's it's all I've done since I've left Ireland when I was fifteen.
Um I think it's something that I can be I can be really good at.
I've enjoyed my roles and I've enjoyed working with all the coaches and managers of I've taken little things from from everybody.
Um but I'm trying to mould myself into into a Glen Wheelan um head coach or manager's role and and that's what I want to be.
Um again, like I said, it's it's fueled
the fire for me to to push on at disappointments when I was a player and I and I used that to uh to kick on and and reach the very top and I'll do the same again.
No, I've not spoken to him since I left.
I've obviously I've had to take a little backward step and and reflect on myself um first and foremost, but over the next couple of weeks, yeah, it'll be definitely a a a chance.
