So I don't think you can move Keenan because, yeah, I think Tommy O'Brien was a...
was a loss.
But if there was a like for like coming on for, you know, even if you're shifting Gary Ringrose to the wing, it's going to be more solid than putting Prandegast in to cover the backfield.
But it is a very, very unique skill.
Bankless running in 15 is... It's not easy.
That was exactly going to be my next point.
It's unfair to ask somebody to do that because even, say, Harry Byrne struggles to get into position quickly enough.
But again, lesson learned for him when he's in the backfield, it's been that the thankless running that you get set early
in the backfield that you're there as the ball is arriving and it's what people expect but it's when you let the ball bounce that's when people start looking going oh why is it bouncing but Bordeaux are excellent on that transition piece so I think to put somebody that's not been doing that for their whole life to ask them to come in and to do that I think it's unfair to the player but then it's also tying one hand behind your back as a team.
For that small bit of his game, which is obviously half of the game, it needs the season to be over for almost the reset to go into it.
I think there's a limited amount of time you can give to that skill, but it's going to be an uncomfortable pre-season for him when he finishes the season because it is going to be something that he needs to work on.
You look at where he missed the tackles.
Again, it's a completely different way of defending in the 10-channel or the 10-12 channel versus being isolated on your own with a cross-field kick coming in and you have to try and time a tackle to go in there.
So by putting him in those situations...
it is quite a gamble because if it goes well, great.
But if it goes badly, like you're eating away at the lad's confidence before you've really had a time to adjust it and to try and get the best statement.
Like I think the bit that we have to accept with him is he's never going to be a prolific defender, but we just want to minimize the risk in there, get it so that it's not a thing that teams try to target.
But every team tries to target 10s.
It's not a unique thing.
