You tie it back to what we talked about at the start of the podcast, which is around the ability to sustain that type of approach.
And we saw that Ulster struggled to maintain that over the course of the season because you put yourself in a position and then the margins narrow and they just ran out of a little bit of puff.
If Munster play the way they played at the tail end of that season and expect a 10 to come in and to just manage in that fashion, I don't believe that Munster were playing a game that reflected the players they had.
They will have to make some... I believe that we'll have to see some changes on the pitch to see Munster get more out of what they have.
Oh I weathered fairly well.
Dividing uh dividing and conquering between work, children, holidays, life, everything.
So uh been yeah, it's been a fun, fun summer and a rugby took a back seat there for a couple of weeks, which was nice.
And we got to uh look on from afar with New Zealand and said after we go on toe to toe.
And then sure lo and behold, the top fourteen comes back in and we
suddenly see the start of the season.
So it's been good.
I'd like to say I got a tan, but I don't tan.
I just go red and then back to water.
underestimate the never underestimate the underdog.
Everybody loves an underdog.
Well like I think there's probably more in that than you you know, at face value it sounds like a prudent thing, but if you look at say James Lowe not being renewed and um Rico Yuane while Leicester won the URC, you wouldn't say they got banged for book with him and that's not a criticism of him.
Um I as I've said many times, I think Leinster failed to get the best out of him as much as he failed to have a real impact on Leinster's season.
So, you know, it feels that
if they are going to fill that IQ spot or non uh non qualified player that it really has to be a bang for book kind of a thing, almost like uh Brad Thorne type signing where it's uh you can almost predict the outcome.
He's trying to find out what the need is, like what do Leinster need.
