I mean, he'd briefly run for office, his father had run for office, but he was governor of the Bank of Canada, where he was very young.

He had a very successful response to the crisis.

And the Canadian banking system is very, very conservative.

And it really withheld the shock of the financial crisis better than almost anywhere.

That's how he got his job at the Bank of England.

And he took out UK citizenship when he became governor of the Bank of England.

He already had Irish citizenship because all of us said third generation Irish people do, all of which he renounced when he became prime minister of Canada.

So he's not Irish anymore, although maybe he'll take it.

We'll keep him.

But in any case, yeah, he's a technocrat.

He wasn't Justin Trudeau.

He didn't have any of the baggage of the extremely unpopular Trudeau.

And again, he's governing from the center-center-right, which is leading to defections from other parties from both sides, from the left and the right.

So he's now just gained a majority in the House of Commons.

Yeah, it plays really well in Canada because that is the overriding factor.
