Another thing which has happened in Japan recently is the first woman mayor of a very scenic town took maternity leave.

And a lot of people were shocked that she would abandon her post.

And other people were like, if we want Japanese mayors to be more than 4% women, we're going to need to have maternity leave.

And I think it really is –

I think we have to start seeing politics as a normal job and politicians as people with rights and entitlements because other than that – if you have to sacrifice everything to the job, including really important early months and years with your baby.
