yeah listen all what happened was i mean i uh was doing some press in new zealand for the chat show and uh you know you know they asked me things like you know who's your favorite um kiwi guest and i'm like i have no idea so and to kill the time i thought i'll tell them i love new zealand so many block which i do i do love new zealand new zealand
And anyway, Tim and Rob saw this interview in a paper or in a magazine or something.
And, you know, they were a very, very small winemaking operation at that point.
But they had the kind of gumption to contact my office and say, we saw Graham, would you like some for the green room?
And, you know, you're never too old or too rich for free booze.
So we went, yes, yes, we would like some free wine.
Thank you very much.
And on the back of that, then the guys were able to say in New Zealand, you know, as drunk by Gwyneth Paltrow, as drunk by, you know, whoever's drinking white wine.
And I was just really impressed by that.
It's not, you know, it's not brain surgery or anything, but at the same time, no one else had done it.
It was a really clever way of getting their wine out there and marketing it.
And then it must have been a couple of years after that, they asked me if I'd liked on my own label and, you know, vain.
self-obsessed creature that i am i was like yes yes i need to drink wine that has my name on it um so uh we did one vintage and then after that we started doing these blends and so that's where you find us today we're in london and the guys have brought samples from about
10 different vineyards or you know blocks grapes from New Zealand and we're doing the blend news day and we've just done it and it is I have to say it's been really easy this year because it's an amazing harvest so like really any of those samples could have been the wine really delicious this year
