Thanks, Andy.
It's great to be with you and great to be on with you, Shane, too.
I'm really standing on the shoulders of giants from the work that you've done and others.
So it's good to be having a chat with you both.
Yeah, well, and I have to credit Shane because I'm originally from Sydney and I moved to Melbourne with my wife in 2015.
And as I was becoming, you know, throughout COVID becoming more and more entrenched, I
the whole topic of UAP in an Australian context, some folks suggested I look into the Westall case.
I reached out to Shane and Shane suggested I get down to one of the annual witness reunion events that they put on once a year.
Obviously, they couldn't do it throughout COVID, but
a small number of the witnesses convene on an annual basis at the Grange and just to obviously share their own recollections and memories, but also have a chat and discussion and answer questions from the general public.
So I went down to one of these reunion events and just had a great opportunity to
pepper these witnesses with a lot of questions and they were very giving and generous of their time and willing to go on on cameron you know after that then digging into west all a bit deeper and again very only uh superficially it's just such a fascinating case above and beyond the fact that you have several hundred
students, adults, folks that weren't on the school property on the day, that remembers the general public, that observed something in the sky above West Old High School that they weren't able to readily explain and reconcile.
I mean, that, number one, is the starting point.
But then you have all these other added elements to it, like the rapid military response that Shane mentioned, like allegations of...
witness intimidation more than allegations we had andrew green would go on the record and say that he was threatened by two gentlemen one in military attire one in general uh civil uh you know general attire uh basically you know threatening him that he talks about the westall case of what he saw it would be very easy for folks to believe that he was drunk on the day of the incident his job would be in jeopardy uh you've got confiscation of evidence you've got uh you know
television news footage go missing after a national or regional news report being aired that night.
And you have the fact that so many students are really, to this day, 60 years on, frustrated with the fact that they were told to shut up and stay quiet about what it was they saw.
And even the headmaster reiterated that sentiment during a special assembly that were called later that day,
basically instructing the students to stay quiet, not to talk about this.
