is at stake here you know we're going to see potentially a manager inventable for the first time go from 100 losses in year one to a playoff spot in year two that's never happened before just to give you an idea of the precedent of what we're on the verge of maybe and the other thing is you know chris gets is the guy who was taking a lot of heat i don't need to tell you guys this but you know there were viral clips going around this off season about him talking about a player and does he know if he's a switch hitter or not there's a lot of questions about how they're
building up their operation, and he's answering questions about his job security.
And now he might be the executive of the year.
I mean, how quickly things change.
So it's very impressive what they've been able to do.
I actually thought they had a pretty good plan in the draft as well.
They went bat-heavy early on to try to get some guys who could move pretty quickly.
They're in a good place and in a division, mind you, where nobody ever really runs away with it.
And the Guardians have benefited from this from some time, where if you're just in that 90-win mix, you don't need to win 100 games necessarily to win the Central game.
