But today, my answer to a financial institution or anyone that asks me would be to wait.

Because I think we do have to wait and see where all this lands.

And I mean, this is important for payments, right?

I was actually reading a good post from Bits of Money.

I'm not affiliated with them.

I can't vouch for them, just in full transparency.

But I thought it was a really good post breaking this down.

And they did a good job of talking about how often people...

don't fully appreciate what all the open banking stuff is about.

Yes, it's about open banking, can I use my budgeting app, etc.

But it's very much about payments, which is why I think it's relevant here.

Because, you know, you look at PSD two and PSD three, right, that's enabling payments through open banking capabilities.

Even here in the US, looking at how open banking capabilities will enable payments

So again, I think it's going to be really interesting to see where the rule change or where the rules end up by the end of the year.

But I'm excited.

Hopefully we can get to a good place by the end of the year with it.
