I am still her parent.
Yeah.
But I got one up and out and we're about 60% out the nest because of a living arrangement that makes perfect sense for choices being made and projects being pursued.
She lives here about 40% of the time, 60% of the time she is elsewhere through very wise and intelligent decisions.
I fully understand this hybrid model of living that she is doing right now.
And honestly, it's brilliant and genius.
It's her life, so I can't properly describe it.
But just know that this creative way that she is approaching the start of her adulthood makes me look like a bleeding fucking idiot.
Yeah, we just had to use a big beep.
I'm not going to beep it.
I'm leaving.
Like I looked like a fool compared to how she's managing to start her adulthood.
And yeah, I'm a flex a little bit because I taught her to have the wherewithal to make these types of choices.
She's freaking killing it.
i'm all right i'm not saying i'm perfect and not all of those choices that i made were great but you survived him but that also means that for every good thing that i'm like yeah that's so smart oh my gosh keep going i'm like oh is that the way you're gonna go though that feels like the hard way that is the hard i've already you don't have to do it that way ask me how i know you're gonna do it that way anyway okay that part that part's hard uh
We've talked a bunch of times about that safe failure method.
Dude, I'm in it.
I'm looking down at that net that we so carefully crafted over 18 years and I'm already seeing the holes.
