Yeah, I don't I know some people are like libraries shouldn't charge late fees.

I think libraries shouldn't charge late fees and then prevent you from checking books out just because you owe late fees.

That's where I land on the issue.

However, I don't necessarily mind charging a late fee because libraries are underfunded as it is, and books are already super expensive, and publishers are not kind to libraries, even though libraries support authors just as much as individual book buyers.

So...

I'm OK with whatever they need to do to raise a little funds from those people who can afford to help them out.

I have the financial privilege to be able to pay the late fee if I've got a late fee.

I can pay the late fee.

That buys like half a book.

I never considered it that way.

Or like a single page of an e-book, because I don't know if you know much about how the publishers like to publish the e-books and the digital.
