A fantastic one.
So my kids have four-day school weeks at the back half of the year.
Why?
I don't know.
But they do.
We're up in that 50th in education.
It's okay.
They extended the school days Monday through Thursday.
So now they keep them longer, which is fantastic, I'm sure, except they're still seven.
They tap out at one.
It doesn't matter how much longer they go mentally.
They're just done with communication and behavior by 1 p.m.
Anyway, and like, nevermind brain elasticity and neuroscience and how information is translated and stored in brains.
Like just doing it longer in a day
may or may not actually help you learn something.
And I promise you it's not helping a bunch of our 50th in education kids learn.
Anyway, so my kids come home on Thursday and every day we take out their papers, but we may or may not read them as closely as we should, especially the little teacher newsletter because it's always the same thing.
I'm supposed to, but I threw a big old Karen temper tantrum about that.
Say more right now.
I'm not going to explain the depths I sunk to to get them to stop emailing me 73 times a day.
