And it appears they've done so.

And I think that's big.

And by the way, on the issue of refugees repatriation, this solves not only problems, you know, the U.S.

obviously has a number of Venezuelan citizens here.

But if you look next door,

If you go over to Colombia, they're taking the bulk of the Venezuelans.

They have this huge Venezuelan expatriate refugee population, which is really draining resources in that society.

So if they could go back, that would take tremendous pressure off of the Colombian government.

And if you look around northern South America, a number of countries are hosting large Venezuelan

for lack of a better term, refugee, expatriate populations there, that they would probably like to see that strain alleviated by repatriation back to Venezuela.

So there's a lot that can come from that.

I've been interfacing, and I won't explain everything, but I've been interfacing with some of the security side of Guyana for years, which is right next door, and they have this huge oil find out there, and you may recall that Venezuela was –

threatening to invade and take over two-thirds of guyana about every other week they'd make that threat for a while which was definitely disconcerting if you were in guyana um but that stopped uh in fact i was actually with some guy and officers when the when a lot of this was taking place i go i don't think you have to worry about a venezuelan invasion anytime real soon and they just kind of laugh they go yeah i think that's been solved yeah it's like okay so anyway um

that's another thing is it takes away that venezuela hegemonic encroachment whatever you want to say uh in the area which uh i look at it this way too uh we just pulled a big pillar uh pulled the rug out from under chinese influence in the region as well yeah i was gonna ask you about that because there's been there's there's been some i'm sorry for interrupting there how there's been some talking over the since the

Well, very much.

And then you remember last year we were talking about, well, we may have to go back there and retake the canal zone in Panama.

And as someone who was stationed in Panama, spent a lot of time in the canal zone, ironically, spent a lot of time in the canal zone, and was doing a project where we were hosting Cuban refugees way back when at a camp there.

So, you know, that kind of had a lot of meaning to me.

But it was these two big port complexes –

that were controlled, owned by a Hong Kong consortium, and are saying, look, that's not good, that's Chinese-influenced area.
