This is for me.
Very simply, when you commoditize every single event, you no longer just enjoy the event.
We see this, what happens to, unfortunately, our athletes.
They're now not viewed as people.
They're viewed as an account.
They're viewed as a means to an end.
And can you imagine being an athlete?
You have a great game.
Yeah.
And then you get all these DMs or Venmo requests for money lost on you, no matter what.
You could have had the perfect game and you still will have lost money for somebody.
Yeah.
Yeah, you lose empathy, you lose compassion.
So when you have how many COVID cases will there be in the year?
It's just so interesting.
Yeah, you know, will X amount of species go extinct?
You know, how many school shootings are going to happen this year?
I mean, these are really...
Absolutely inhumane things to be rooting for or against and putting your wealth attached to it.
And that's why everything β you just become desensitized over time, right?
